The next breastfeeding group meeting will be held January 13 at the USO building at 11AM. This meeting will have a special guest Lisa Fincaryk. She is a doula/ birthing coach who will be talking about birthing options here in Korea. Anyone interested in birthing classes or giving birth in Korea is urged to attend this seminar. As always all breastfeeding concerns will also be addressed.
November 30th to December 4th
All new or like-new children's books will be accepted. There will be collection sites in each of the on-base family housing towers next to the ground floor elevator doors, at the elementary school book fair or the books can be dropped off at the base library.
The next breastfeeding support group meeting is scheduled for Wednesday November 18 at 11AM at the USO building by the main gate. The topic for this month will be how to introduce solid foods while breastfeeding as well as keeping balanced nutrition for yourself. Anyone needing help with introduction of solid foods (this includes formula fed babies) is more than welcome to join us. I hope to see anyone who can make it.

There is a breastfeeding support group meeting on October 28,2009 @11AM at the USO building.
There are a bunch of new books at the parenting library available for checkout at the community center. The library is in the front room next to the fish tank, if you haven't checked it out yet. Books can be checked out by signing them out in the notebook on top of the bookshelf. Please return them when you are finished!
The Free Parent and Child Art Class for ages 1-5 is starting back up on Friday October 9th with a great new teacher and a fun fall painting craft. Join the fun at 10:00 in the Community Center.
